Venture has a wide range of DC powered linear actuators to choose from, covering almost all your needs. Our actuators are Ball Screw DC actuators and Acme Screw DC actuators can be employed in just about any application where you need to move or lift objects in a smooth yet precise manner.
Ball Screw DC Actuators
The Ball Screw actuators are extremely efficient in their movement owing to the ball screw. However, these actuators require an integrated mechanical or electric brake to eliminate the potential for back-driving. On the other hand, the geometry of acme screw thread makes the Acme Screw actuators less efficient than a Ball Screw Actuator. However, there is no need to use a mechanical or electric brake in Acme Screw DC actuators.
The clevis-to-clevis version offers compatibility with other popular actuator brands. Also available in an AC powered version, Can be designed specifically for solar tracking applications and typically custom-designed for your particular system.
